Yes! We have access to the Lancet. We purchase this title through ScienceDirect, so you have to access the journal through the library in order to get the free full-text. If accessing from an AHS computer, you’ll never need a username/password to access any e-journal we subscribe to.

  1. Use this link from an AHS computer: http://www.sciencedirect.com.hinc.lib.ucalgary.ca/science/journal/01406736
  2. If prompted to choose your organization, select Calgary region if you are in the Calgary zone. For all other zones, select “Health Knowledge Network.”
  3. Depending your computer’s cookie settings, you might have to re-enter “The Lancet” in the journal title field.
If you are looking for a particular article, you can enter the volume, issue, and page numbers in their respective fields as well.
    Click “search”.
  4. Once you have reached the Lancet landing page, you can browse the issues by clicking on the links along the left hand side. Click on the PDF icon to download full-text.

If you have trouble locating the article you are looking for, you can request the article from KRS here.
