You may have noticed some changes in electronic resources you can access through the Knowledge Resource Service website. Below is a summary of these changes, with the introduction of some exciting new resources:
OrthoEvidence - OrthoEvidence offers high quality and timely orthopaedic–only evidence-based summaries, pre-appraised by orthopaedic medical experts.
ASPEN eBooks - A.S.P.E.N. eBooks can be searched, browsed, and read online for those looking for best practices when diagnosing, treating, and managing nutritional support of clinical conditions. This collection includes:
- Enteral Nutrition Handbook
- Parenteral Nutrition Handbook, 2nd Edition
- Adult Nutrition Support Core Curriculum, 2nd Edition
- Pediatric Nutrition Support Core Curriculum, 2nd Edition
Where is AccessMedicine? I can't find the AccessMedicine eBooks.
As of April 1, 2015 we no longer license Access Medicine. It was a tough decision based on the economics of cost per use, our reduced buying power due to the low American dollar exchange rate, and usage of only a small portion of the eBook titles within the complete AccessMedicine subscription. We know that those were good titles and regret the inconvenience as we try to find another way of providing those or comparable books thorough another e-book provider in the near future.
