In March, the Canadian Medical Association announced the cessation of several clinical information tools and library support services. The Knowledge Resource Service (KRS) offers the same or comparable resources as the CMA, a service that all AHS-affiliated physicians can access:

CMA

KRS

Ask a Librarian (Ending April 28)

We provide literature searching, full-text articles, and a chat reference service. We are here to help.

DynaMed (Ending June 28)

We have DynaMed! Offering an updated interface, an app, and embedded into Connect Care, you can continue to access high-quality evidence summaries. Using your existing personal DynaMed login you can also continue to track CME/CE credits with the CMA.

Clinical Key (Ending Dec 1)

While we don’t have access to Clinical Key (due to cost), we DO have thousands of print and ebooks and more than 25,000 ejournal titles.

Is there a title you need to access frequently? – let us know!

CPG Infobase (Ending Dec 1)

We will update KRS’ guidelines page as we learn more about the future of CPG Infobase and any alternatives.
We can also help you find appropriate guidelines through a literature search request.

*If you are a physician and are unsure of your AHS affiliation, the Medical Affairs office (CMO@ahs.ca) would be the best place to reach out to. If you think you might already have an AHS account but are having trouble accessing, you can try contacting the Medical Staff Office of your primary Zone directly:
