Journal Collection Changes January 2023

KRS offers access to a substantial collection of over 5500 ejournals. These are annual subscriptions and most are renewed in January. There’s an art and science to deciding what to renew balancing cost/use data, our ability to borrow articles from the title from another library, the relative importance to a program, what other titles do we have in that discipline. Budget is a major consideration and this year we are indeed affected by exchange rate and inflation. Two major packages were added in 2022 and we are keeping those well-used journals. The following titles will not be renewed for 2023. If you want to follow what is published in one of these journals sign up for an electronic table of contents and KRS is happy to obtain the articles you wish to read via a quick interlibrary loan process. https://krs.libguides.com/articlerequest
