The main contact for data requests within AHS is the Clinical Analytics & Primary Data Support team. Additionally, over 80 departments at AHS publish data reports through the Tableau platform which are made available to all AHS staff.
Staff may also register and submit data requests directly through the DIMR Request Tool. These requests are typically processed within 7-10 business days and can support research projects (requires additional documentation/ethics approval), preliminary information for potential research projects (aggregate info only), and non-research (QI) projects. Submissions require a detailed description of the data requirements, scope, geography, time period, etc...

External research clients or those who are cross-appointed may also make requests for AHS research data. Alternatively, other datasets of administrative health data for research, planning, and projects are also made available through the Ministry of Health.
