The easiest way to read ASHP ebooks is by reading them online using the Table of Contents tab to navigate to and click on a specific chapter:
If you don't see any chapter PDFs listed in the table of contents, you can either:
1. Go to the Downloadable ePub tab and see if there is a PDF listed
2. Go to the search menu on the left column and click the orange search icon. The results will list the all the chapters/monographs from A to Z. 
From here you can download the PDF and search for a term as needed. Please note that the search functionality on the ASHP platform can miss content, so downloading the PDF to search a term will often yield better results.
If you are still having difficulties with accessing the PDF content and you are onsite, you can access ASHP ebooks through the following link: https://publications.ashp.org/ The table of contents menus should be available for you to now expand the menu and download/view the PDFs.
The last recommended way to access ASHP ebook content would be via EPUB downloads. You can request Adobe Digital Editions from IT (it is packaged and available for IT staff to install on your device).
