You can access Lippincott Advisor and Lippincott Procedures content anywhere and anytime with the mobile app, available for both Apple and Android devices. The app makes it easy for you to find answers to your clinical questions and lookup procedures on the go.

Instructions

Part 1. Create a Personal Lippincott Account

Did you know? Many AHS staff have already been setup with a Lippincott account to access the Transfusion Medicine education, so you might already have an account! If you did not receive an email from Lippincott Procedures with your login information, your username is your full albertahealthservices.ca email and to setup/reset your password use the forgot password link.   1. Open a web browser on your device and visit the Lippincott Advisor website (krs.ahs.ca/advisor). Your Lippincott account will work to give you credentials for both Advisor and Procedures apps.
  2. On the website, select “Login” (top right menu) and click “Institutional Account Self-Enroll” in the window.
     
  3. Enter the required info as formatted below and select "All General Users" under User Location field. Click Save

    Username: AHS + your AHS ID (e.g. AHS12345678)

    Email address. Your FULL AHS email address (e.g. jane.doe@albertahealthservices.ca)


Part 2. Download and Install the App(s)

  1. Go to the Google Play or Apple App store on your device and search for “Lippincott Nursing Advisor” and/or “Lippincott Procedures”.
     
  2. Install and open the app(s); You may be asked to confirm storage permissions (Android): Select "OK" and "Allow" and you'll then be presented with login options:

    In Advisor, select the “Institutional Users” icon.
    In Procedures, Institutional User Login is already set as the default.
  3. Use your new account info created in Part 1. to login to the app on your device.
     
  4. Select “Keep Me Logged In” (Advisor) or “Remember Me” (Procedures).
     
  5. When prompted to download content, click the Download button.
