Micromedex Drug Reference, Micromedex Drug Interactions, Micromedex IV Compatibility, Pediatric Essentials and NeoFax Essentials apps are bundled with our AHS subscription and are free of charge for AHS staff, but do require a password. Passwords expire once a year.

It's time to update your Micromedex apps with new passwords

Beginning March 1st, users will be informed of this expiration within the mobile apps AND new passwords will need to be obtained within the secure Micromedex application.  Users will have a 4 day grace period to enter new passwords. The old codes will no longer work on your device after March 4.

To update your password you'll need to access Micromedex from an AHS computer and follow steps 1 - 3 as listed below in the download instructions. Once you get to the onscreen instructions within Micromedex you can skip to Step 4 to view the new password and update your device.

Please remember that free access is for AHS staff only, do not share this password with non-AHS staff.

 

Download Instructions:

1. Access Micromedex from an AHS computer.

2. Click on the "Download Mobile Apps" on the bottom of the right hand column.

3. Choose which app you would like to download: Micromedex Drug Reference for Internet Subscribers, Drug Interactions, or IV Compatibility.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions. You will be asked to download the app from your respective app store, as well as using the on-screen case sensitive password to authenticate.


To access the Pediatrics Essentials app and NeoFax Essentials app:

 
1. Access Micromedex from an AHS computer.
 
2. Select the NeoFax/Pediatrics tab (a new window will open)
 
3. Select the "Mobile Link" in the top right hand corner (a new window will open)
 
4. Follow the on-screen instructions. You will be asked to download the app from your respective app store, as well as using the on-screen case sensitive password to authenticate.
 
Note:   As AHS is a Micromedex customer that receives access to the mobile apps as part of our subscription, you will be asked to update your password on an annual basis. Once the current password nears expiration, the app will remind you to enter a new one. At that time, return to this site and obtain the new password. Visiting our mobile page will also allow you to stay current with other mobile offerings available exclusively to Micromedex customers. Please remember that app access is for Micromedex customers only, do not share this password with non-Micromedex customers.
